Florida-based powerboat manufacturer Twin Vee PowerCats Co has appointed Shawn Erb as its director of sales and dealer relations, effective immediately. In this role, Erb will oversee the company’s sales operations, foster relationships with dealers in the United States and globally, and manage the sales, distribution, and support of Twin Vee’s product lines according to an article by Marine Industry News.
Joseph Visconti, chairman and CEO of Twin Vee, expressed his confidence in Erb’s ability to drive the company’s growth. “Shawn’s expertise in cultivating new and established dealer relationships and driving sales growth will be invaluable as we expand our reach and introduce new models to the market.”

As I walked throughout our Fort Pierce, Florida, manufacturing facility with Joseph, I was shown the technological upgrades and the custom craftsmanship of each Twin Vee throughout the manufacturing process.”

Erb brings a wealth of experience in the recreational marine and powersports industries. He was previously the national sales manager for Four Winns Boats, leading sales and business development for Four Winns and Wellcraft brands across the Americas.
He also served as VP of sales and business development for Sherp of North America, where he played a pivotal role in developing the North American dealer network. From 2016 to 2023, Erb held several roles at BRP, including business development manager for the U.S. Southeast marine group and field operations manager for the U.S. powersports division.
The announcement comes as Twin Vee works to navigate financial challenges. The company reported a 64% revenue drop in Q3 2024, with earnings falling to $2.9 million compared to $8.1 million in the same period last year. Despite this decline, Twin Vee is actively investing in its future, with plans for the 2025 launch of the revamped BayCat series and a significant expansion of its manufacturing facilities.
