Go RVing reached a combined audience of millions of consumers nationwide through an on-site media tour conducted during the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, amplifying awareness of RV travel and promoting upcoming RV shows across the United States.
The effort is aimed at driving consumer interest in RVing as an affordable and flexible travel option while supporting attendance at hundreds of RV shows.
The media outreach took place as part of activities surrounding the Florida RV SuperShow, one of the industry’s largest annual consumer events.
The media tour was designed to position RV travel prominently during America’s upcoming 250th birthday year, aligning with Go RVing’s RV-2-50 initiative, which encourages families to consider road travel and RV experiences as part of their future plans.
By leveraging local television coverage, the campaign sought to connect directly with consumers through trusted news outlets in multiple regions.
As part of the initiative, Go RVing facilitated approximately a dozen local television segments that aired on FOX-, CBS-, and NBC-affiliated stations.
The segments ran in major markets including Atlanta, Albany, Boston, Indianapolis, Knoxville, Sacramento, Seattle, Waco, and Youngstown.
The televised segments also focused on the variety of RV options available to consumers and emphasized the flexibility of RV travel in 2026.
The campaign was structured to inspire first-time RV shoppers and travelers by showcasing the lifestyle and encouraging hands-on exploration at regional RV shows. The organization emphasized that attending a show allows consumers to compare models, learn about ownership and identify an RV that fits their travel needs.
“We are proud of our efforts to keep RVing front and center in conversations surrounding the Florida RV SuperShow and the many RV shows taking place across the country,” Monika Geraci, RV Industry Spokesperson, said, as reported by a News and Insights report of RVIA.
“Reaching millions of viewers through trusted local news outlets and on YouTube helps keep RVing top of mind and supports strong attendance at RV shows this winter,” Geraci added.
Go RVing serves as the consumer-facing voice of the RV industry, with a mission focused on raising awareness of RV travel through storytelling, education and outreach.
Its initiatives aim to introduce new audiences to RV ownership while reinforcing interest among existing enthusiasts.
