Go RVing Expands RV-2-50 Program With Travel Passport to Drive Dealership Traffic Ahead of 2026 Season

Go RVing is rolling out a nationwide expansion of its RV-2-50 program with a new Travel Passport initiative aimed at encouraging recreational vehicle travel this year while increasing in-person traffic at participating dealerships.

The RV-2-50 Travel Passport builds on Go RVing’s existing RV-2-50 campaign, which promotes RV travel as a way to explore United States history and natural attractions in celebration of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

The new effort adds a consumer incentive component that rewards RVers for documenting their trips and is designed to bring potential buyers and travelers directly into dealership showrooms.

The program centers on curated travel guides that position RV travel as a flexible way to experience destinations connected to the country’s history and landscapes.

Under the expanded initiative, RVers who participate in RV-2-50 trips can submit photos and videos of their journeys for a chance to receive rewards. Prizes include Go RVing-branded gear intended for future trips, as well as a grand prize covering camping fees for an entire year.

A key element of the campaign is the physical RV-2-50 Travel Passport, which consumers must obtain in person. Go RVing plans to distribute the passports through participating RV dealerships, positioning those locations as regional hubs for the program.

To support that effort, Go RVing is launching a dedicated landing page on its consumer website listing dealerships where travelers can pick up passports.

According to the program description, the initiative is intended to help dealerships increase floor traffic by drawing in consumers who are planning travel for the 2026 season.

The in-person pickup requirement also creates opportunities for dealership staff to engage directly with RVers, discuss travel plans and connect the dealership brand with the broader RV lifestyle promoted by Go RVing.

Go RVing will begin mailing RV-2-50 Travel Passports to dealerships at the beginning of February. Participation is offered at no cost to dealers, though supplies of the passports are limited.

The RV-2-50 Travel Passport initiative is positioned as a turnkey promotional opportunity for dealerships seeking to capitalize on heightened interest in domestic travel tied to the nation’s semiquincentennial while strengthening customer relationships ahead of the 2026 travel season.
