The New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA) will hold its annual Fall Tour & General Membership Meeting Sept. 28, bringing campground operators together to tour four parks in New Jersey’s Greater Atlantic City Region and conduct the association’s annual meeting.
According to a press release, Joann DelVescio, executive director of the New Jersey Campground Owners Association, said attendees will travel by caravan to Winding River Campground in Mays Landing, Spacious Skies Campground – Country Oaks in Dorothy, Ocean City’s Coastal Escape RV Park and Sleepy Hollow Family Campground, both in Egg Harbor Township.
The annual event is held in a different camping and vacation region of New Jersey each year and is designed to give members an opportunity to exchange ideas while touring campgrounds in the host region.
“Our members come together to share new ideas and inspiration by exploring area campgrounds and engaging with each other in our annual meeting,” DelVescio said.
“It is a relaxed and informal affair, giving us all time to unwind after a busy season while still keeping up with the ever-changing outdoor hospitality industry,” DelVescio added.
The Sept. 28 event will include campground site tours, meals, meetings and the association’s annual membership gathering.
The tour provides members with an opportunity to examine area properties and interact with other campground operators following the summer season.
Industry suppliers are also invited to participate as sponsors and attend the Fall Tour. According to the association, sponsors will have opportunities to network with current and prospective customers while touring the participating campgrounds and the surrounding region.
NJCOA is also seeking donations for a fundraising auction that will be held during the annual meeting. Requested items include gift baskets, gift cards and other donated goods. Questions about donations or arrangements can be directed to Judy LaPorta of Little Oaks Campground at littleoakscampground@prodigy.net.
The NJCOA, established in 1963, represents campground operators in New Jersey. Additional information is available at GoCampingNJ.com and through the association’s @NJCampgrounds accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
