In a recent development, the Society of Certified RV Professionals celebrated the achievements of individuals who have earned new certifications through the Mike Molino RV Learning Center Fixed Operations Certification Program.
This event, held during the last quarter of 2022, was not just a recognition of personal achievements but a testament to the ongoing commitment of RV professionals towards enhancing customer service and satisfaction in the industry.
The Society’s initiative aims to publicize individuals’ certification achievements on a national level, thereby setting a benchmark of excellence within the RV industry, according to a press release.
The recognition event saw a total of 18 individuals from eight participating dealerships earning new certifications, covering a range of roles crucial to the RV industry’s operations. Among the recognized were service writers/advisors, service managers, warranty administrators, parts specialists, and parts managers.
Additionally, Charles Duquemin, a warranty administrator, was celebrated for renewing his certification. These certifications are a part of a broader initiative aimed at improving the efficiency of fixed operations personnel, which in turn is expected to improve a dealership’s Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) and lead to higher customer satisfaction.
National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) President Phil Ingrassia extended his congratulations to the professionals and their dealerships, underscoring the significance of their achievements. He stated that these accomplishments are a reflection of their outstanding commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
The RVDA President emphasized that certified personnel join an elite group of professionals who have successfully met high professional standards, thereby elevating the RV industry to new heights of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
The Mike Molino RV Learning Center plays a pivotal role in this initiative by offering online testing, certification, and recertification for fixed-ops professionals.
Developed in collaboration with experts at Ohio State University’s Center for Education and Training for Employment and a team of top-performing, demographically diverse working professionals, the center’s credentials are designed to meet the evolving needs of the RV industry.
The certification programs are meticulously crafted to ensure that the certified personnel are well-equipped to meet the high expectations of consumers in the RV industry.
The Society of Certified RV Professionals aims to promote and recognize certification among employees in the RV industry as a means to improve the customer experience. This initiative is driven by the changing technology and high consumer expectations in the RV industry, emphasizing the importance of staying current and maintaining certification.
The recognition program is a step towards ensuring that the RV industry remains competitive and continues to provide exceptional service to its customers.
The impact of such recognition programs extends beyond individual achievements. It sets a precedent for other professionals in the industry, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The Society’s efforts reflect the broader industry’s commitment to upholding professional standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. The recognition of certified personnel is not just an acknowledgment of their skills and dedication but a message to the industry about the value of professional certification.
In addition to the recognition program, the Society of Certified RV Professionals provides resources and support to dealerships interested in participating in the program. The initiative is open to all dealerships, and the Society encourages participation as a means to promote excellence within the RV industry.
The recognition program is not just a one-time event but an ongoing initiative to create a culture of excellence and customer-centricity within the RV industry.
