CAMP to Host Fall Meeting in Branson Dec. 1-2

The Campground Association of Management Professionals (CAMP) will hold its Fall Meeting Dec. 1-2 at the Hilton Convention Center in Branson, Missouri, with discussions focused on association operations, member benefits, technology and industry leadership development.

The two-day meeting will bring together campground association professionals, association leaders and industry partners to address operational challenges and opportunities, including managing organizations with limited staff and resources, developing non-dues revenue and strengthening relationships among campgrounds, dealers and manufacturers.

The agenda will include presentations and discussions on using technology to improve member benefits, engaging the next generation of industry leaders and identifying ways to strengthen campground associations. A General Motors International (GMI) update featuring Electrical Works also is planned.

CAMP President Michael Moore said the meeting will provide an opportunity for association professionals and industry partners to exchange ideas and identify ways to improve their organizations.

“CAMP’s Fall Meeting is an opportunity for campground association professionals and industry partners to share ideas, learn from one another, and identify practical ways to strengthen our organizations,” Moore said.

“By working together, we can improve the value we provide to members, build stronger industry relationships, and prepare the next generation of leaders for success” Moore added.

A Dec. 1 happy hour sponsored by the RV Industry Association (RVIA) will bring together state association executives and vendors participating in the Campground Owners Expo. The gathering is intended to provide time for networking and discussions about opportunities for associations and vendors to support one another.

The meeting is designed to encourage open dialogue and knowledge-sharing among professionals working to improve campground association operations and services.

CAMP is a professional organization for campground association executives and industry partners. It provides opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen professional relationships and explore ways to improve association operations and member services.
