The Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) announced an opportunity for members to reserve advertising space in the 2027 Pennsylvania Campground Directory before reservations close, highlighting the publication’s expanded distribution.
According to the association, the 2027 edition of the directory will include a print run of 180,000 copies and will continue serving as the official statewide directory of Pennsylvania’s privately owned campgrounds.
An interactive version of the directory will also be available through PaCamping.com, providing an additional digital resource for travelers.
PCOA said the directory is distributed throughout Pennsylvania and the Northeast at more than 30 major sports, recreation and travel shows, along with tourist promotion agencies, visitor information centers, rest areas, state legislative offices, AAA locations, libraries, RV dealerships, member campgrounds and other distribution outlets.
The association also reported significant growth in its distribution network in recent years. Since 2021, more than 725 new distribution locations have been added, expanding the directory’s reach.
In addition to physical distribution, thousands of copies are mailed directly to campers across the United States and Canada through website requests and targeted promotional efforts.
PCOA said demand for the publication has continued to increase despite larger production volumes. The association noted that it has increased the directory’s print run by 45,000 copies over the past five years but continues to exhaust available copies each year.
The association also said feedback from campers indicates the directory is used as a trip-planning resource, making it a marketing opportunity for privately owned campgrounds seeking visibility among travelers planning camping vacations.
Advertising placements in the print directory also receive additional exposure through the PaCamping App, which features an interactive version of the publication and is available for iOS and Android devices, according to PCOA.
