Go RVing Fourth of July Reddit Campaign Generates 7.8 Million Impressions, Drives Traffic to RV Travel Content

Go RVing generated more than 7.8 million impressions through a Travel Category Takeover on Reddit during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, placing RV travel at the forefront of one of the year’s busiest travel periods while directing consumers to GoRVing.com for information about the RV lifestyle.

The campaign marked Go RVing’s effort to reach travelers where they were actively researching and discussing vacation plans.

According to the organization, the activation made Go RVing the first travel brand users encountered across Reddit’s Travel community during the Independence Day holiday weekend, providing exclusive first-in-view visibility throughout the platform’s travel category.

The campaign also exceeded its engagement targets, producing approximately 200,000 completed in-feed video views and driving about 24,500 visits to GoRVing.com.

Click-through rates finished 29% above Reddit’s Travel Category Takeover benchmarks, indicating higher-than-expected consumer engagement with RV travel content during the campaign.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on July 16, Performance also improved compared with Go RVing’s previous Reddit marketing efforts. The Fourth of July activation delivered 12% more impressions than the organization’s Memorial Day campaign earlier this year and generated 5% more clicks than that activation.

It also produced 22% more clicks than the Memorial Day Reddit campaign conducted in 2025, reflecting continued growth in audience engagement across the platform.

Mobile devices accounted for the majority of campaign activity. Nearly 73% of campaign delivery occurred through Reddit’s mobile experience, highlighting the importance of reaching consumers through mobile-first platforms as they explore travel ideas and plan vacations.

Go RVing said the campaign was designed to increase awareness of RV travel by positioning the travel option within millions of online conversations during a peak vacation period.

The organization said directing users to GoRVing.com allowed consumers to learn more about RV travel while considering summer vacation plans.

According to the campaign summary, the initiative forms part of Go RVing’s broader strategy of engaging consumers on platforms where travel planning discussions are already taking place.
