GoCamp, a peer-to-peer camper van rental service is continuing to expand its service area, now available in over 50 locations across 25 states across the country.
“Over the past five years, we’ve built a strong base in the West. Now we’re thrilled to introduce GoCamp to prime recreation markets in the Rockies, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest,” Camila Ramirez, CEO of GoCamp, said in a press release.
The company which got its start on the West Coast in 2017 now serves Asheville, Bentonville, Boston, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Nashville, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and St. Petersburg, Fla.
“Reaching 50 locations is a momentous milestone for us. We’re excited to be a part of year-round adventures, from the Smokies to the Appalachian mountains and all the way to the beaches of Florida, as even more people discover the fun and ease of GoCamp,” Ramirez commented.
She also said that GoCamp has doubled the number of rentable camper vans in the past year as more van owners are seeing value in monetizing their assets.
Top-earning GoCamp vans generate more than $50,000 a year in passive income, Ramirez shared.
Last year, Birmingham, Alabama-based adventure van manufacturer Storyteller Overland acquired GoCamp. The camper van rental service company currently has more than 250 vans from over 35 builders in its fleet, including around 40 individually-owned Storyteller Overland MODEs and bespoke camper van brands like Boho, Outside Van, Overland Van Project, Vanlife Customs, and more.
