InteractRV has launched AI Search Assistant, a conversational search tool designed to help RV shoppers find units by describing their needs in plain language rather than relying on traditional search filters.
The tool uses InteractRV’s RV inventory data, including floorplans, tow ratings, features, options and unit-level descriptions, to match shoppers with available inventory.
The AI Search Assistant is the latest addition to its connected AI Product Suite and was developed specifically for RV purchasing behavior.
The tool is intended to address the lengthy research process common among RV buyers, who often compare specifications and narrow choices before contacting a dealership.
InteractRV said traditional inventory searches require shoppers to manually apply multiple filters and navigate listings, while AI Search Assistant allows users to enter detailed requests such as a travel trailer within a specific price range or a motorhome meeting certain size and capacity requirements.
The system then searches dealer inventory using available specifications and descriptions.
The company said the tool is designed to help buyers identify suitable units faster while allowing dealers to convert online research activity into sales opportunities.
AI Search Assistant is available through the InteractRV Platinum package or as a standalone add-on for Gold dealers and operates using a dealer’s live inventory.
“Marketing gets a shopper to the site. Lead scoring and re-engagement bring them back. But none of that matters if they can’t find the right unit once they’re there,” Jenn Ouderkirk, director of product strategy at InteractRV, said in a press release.

The launch expands InteractRV’s AI Product Suite, which includes tools focused on marketing, behavioral lead scoring and customer re-engagement. The suite is intended to support buyers throughout the purchasing process while reducing repetitive product inquiries for dealership teams.
InteractRV also cited data from its network of more than 600 RV dealerships, stating that the top 10% of dealers generate 4.5 times as many leads and turn inventory 54% faster than the average dealer.
“Our dealers don’t need more leads to chase down and qualify. They need better ones,” said Eric Pedretti, vice president of sales at InteractRV. “AI Search Assistant does the early work of helping a buyer narrow things down, so by the time they reach out, the conversation is already moving toward a sale. That’s a real edge, and it’s exactly the kind of thing dealers expect us to build first.”
