This resort, nestled within the park’s natural beauty, features four geodesic domes, each offering a unique blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. Overlooking the serene Blackstrap Lake, these domes provide guests with an immersive nature experience, coupled with the comforts of high-end amenities.

The resort’s domes are designed to cater to diverse tastes, each featuring a king-sized bed, a double bed in a loft, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with heated floors. Priced at CA$350 per night, these accommodations are tailored for those seeking an exclusive outdoor experience.

Josh Turner and Jane Rusbridge, the business partners behind this venture, embarked on this project three years ago after receiving approval from Saskatchewan’s parks ministry.

The journey to the resort’s opening, as Rusbridge described to CTV News, was a challenging yet rewarding experience, involving extensive construction and meticulous planning.

Turner, inspired by European glamping domes, overcame numerous challenges to realize this vision. His dedication to the project is evident in the resort’s attention to detail and commitment to guest comfort.

The Blackstrap Glamping Resort’s location within Blackstrap Provincial Park offers guests a unique advantage. The park’s scenic beauty and array of recreational activities enhance the resort’s appeal, making it an attractive destination for both adventure seekers and those looking to unwind in nature.

The resort plans to expand its offerings in the coming year, adding barrel saunas and two additional domes. This expansion reflects the growing trend in the glamping industry towards diverse and luxurious accommodations.
