The Jackson Companies announced the promotion of Dustin G. Formo to vice president and chief financial officer. In his new role, Formo will oversee the organization’s financial policies and provide strategic direction for financial functions, including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury management.
Formo thanked the company for his promotion and expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, whose responsibilities include Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Prestwick Country Club, and SayeBrook Town Center.

Formo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s in Accountancy from the University of South Carolina. His professional background includes substantial public accounting and banking roles, which equipped him with valuable expertise before joining The Jackson Companies.

Formo’s dedication to leadership reaches beyond his corporate responsibilities at The Jackson Companies. An alumnus of Leadership Grand Strand Class 41 and Waccamaw American Leadership Forum Class 7, Formo actively engages in community service across the Grand Strand. He serves as treasurer for the Leadership Grand Strand Board of Regents and the United Way of Horry County Board of Directors.
Founded by Mary Emily and Nelson Jackson and their five daughters, The Jackson Companies is a family-owned enterprise that includes Prestwick Golf & Country Club, Ocean Lakes Family Campground, and several other properties and business units.
The company employs more than 350 teammates and hires 400 seasonal workers. The Jackson Companies also owns several hundred acres of undeveloped land in the region.
