Velarium to Introduce Echo Awning at Airxcel New Product Showcase

Velarium will introduce its new Echo awning Aug. 18-19 at Airxcel’s 2026 New Product Showcase in Elkhart, Indiana, expanding the brand’s RV awning lineup with an option designed for applications with tighter installation spaces.

The VELARIUM ECHO awning will be offered in standard sizes from 8 to 22 feet and in black or white finishes. The awning features a 57-inch arm intended to support installation in tighter spaces and provides a 7-foot extension for shade and protection from the elements.

The new line also includes a patented pitch-arm level control that allows users to adjust the awning angle based on changing sun and weather conditions.

Multiple LED lighting options will be available for the awning.

“Our products have always been known for their comfort, performance and peace of mind and our latest awning innovations are no exception,” said Jeff Cowan, senior vice president of sales and engineering for Velarium.

“Every detail has been meticulously crafted based on customer feedback and inspiration. The Velarium Echo brings the fit, finish and functionality customers expect from us to a more accessible awning option, while providing RV manufacturers and owners with greater flexibility,” Cowan added.

Velarium also will display its broader portfolio of RV awning and outdoor-living products during the showcase, including powered awnings, lateral-arm box awnings, slide-out toppers, LED lighting systems and awning accessories.

The lineup is designed to provide RV original equipment manufacturers with options across different RV platforms, with features focused on installation flexibility, lighting and durability.

Airxcel’s New Product Showcase is by invitation only and will take place Aug. 18-19 in Elkhart. Velarium is part of Airxcel’s family of brands and was founded in 2022.

Airxcel, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, said its family of brands includes 18 companies operating 15 facilities across the United States and Europe. The company describes itself as a designer, manufacturer and distributor of products for the RV industry.
