According to the RV Industry Association’s (RVIA) News & Insights report, the association’s former Vice President of Standards, Bruce Hopkins, is set to receive the Meritorious Service Award at the 2020-2021 Leadership and Service Awards ceremony during World Standards Week.
Hopkins, dubbed as the godfather of RV standards, contributed his knowledge and skills to the RV industry and RV Industry Association for over 40 years before retiring at the end of 2020.
Hopkins leaves behind a legacy of self-regulation, which promotes uniform standards throughout the RV industry.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is delighted to share that they will be celebrating the 2020-2021 Leadership and Service Awards winners with an in-person ceremony, reception, and dinner during World Standards Week.
The ANSI awards honor exceptional leaders and achievers across the U.S. and global voluntary standards-setting and conformity assessment activities across the broad spectrum of ANSI members and constituents.
The ceremony is happening on May 18, Wednesday.
