The World Surf League (WSL) has partnered with Go RVing for the 2026 Lexus US Open of Surfing Presented by Pacifico, naming the RV lifestyle organization the event’s Official RV Travel Partner and expanding fan engagement through onsite exhibits and digital content.
As part of the partnership, Go RVing will operate one of the event’s largest activations, featuring multiple recreational vehicles available for public tours during the competition. The air-conditioned RVs will also serve as cooling zones for attendees at the event.
The collaboration also includes branded social media content featuring Taylor Jensen, a four-time World Longboard Champion. Jensen will participate in promotional content distributed across digital platforms and will make an appearance at Go RVing’s display within the US Open of Surfing Fan Fest, where he is scheduled to meet fans and sign autographs.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on July 15, Nicole Metzger, WSL chief revenue officer, said the partnership aligns with the league’s approach to connecting brands with its audience through shared experiences.
“One of the strengths of the World Surf League is our ability to connect brands with a community through authentic, experience-driven partnerships,” Metzger said. “Go RVing is a natural fit because the RV lifestyle and surf culture share the same spirit of adventure, freedom, and exploration. Together, we’re creating an experience that not only enhances the US Open of Surfing but also introduces fans to a lifestyle that feels right at home in our community.”
Go RVing spokesperson Monika Geraci said the partnership is intended to introduce RV travel to an audience that already embraces outdoor recreation and coastal travel.
“Both surfing and RVing celebrate the freedom to adventure on your own terms and spend more time in the great outdoors,” Geraci said.
“The US Open of Surfing allows us to authentically introduce the RV lifestyle to a community that is already primed for beach camping and coastal exploration. We want to show this dynamic crowd that no matter where your adventure takes you, an RV keeps you comfortable, connected, and close to the experiences and people you love,” Geraci added.
According to the announcement, the partnership is built around shared themes of outdoor recreation, exploration and experience-driven travel that connect the RV lifestyle with surf culture.
Go RVing said the activation is designed to bring the RV lifestyle directly to attendees through interactive displays while providing event amenities for spectators.
The partnership also extends the organization’s outreach through social media content created in collaboration with Jensen during the 2026 US Open of Surfing.
