The Society of Certified RV Professionals, the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center have designated March 8–14, as RV Fixed Operations Certification Week, a coordinated effort aimed at increasing professional certification across RV dealership service departments.
The initiative focuses on fixed operations professionals working in service, parts and warranty administration within RV dealerships.
The designation highlights certification pathways available to employees in these roles and offers an incentive for individuals who complete credentials during the week.
Through the RV Learning Center’s parts and service management certification programs, fixed operations staff can earn credentials as parts managers, parts specialists, service writers or advisors, service managers and warranty administrators. The programs are structured to provide role-specific certification for dealership personnel.
RVTI offers Level 1 through Level 4 training and certification programs for RV technicians. Courses are available online and through live classes at the institute’s training center in Elkhart, Indiana.
Training and certification opportunities are also delivered through RVTI’s national network of Authorized Learning Partners.
Individuals who earn a new certification during RV Fixed Operations Certification Week will receive a free one-year subscription to the RV Fixed Operations Today website, valued at $49.95.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on February 24, Sharonne Lee, vice president of RVTI, said the week recognizes the role of dealership service and parts professionals.
“RV Fixed Operations Certification Week highlights the skilled professionals who power the service and parts departments within RV dealerships,” Lee said. “Earning certification reflects dedication to professional growth and helps ensure RV owners receive knowledgeable, high-quality service.”
Ally Brown, education director for the RV Learning Center, also said the certification programs address the increasing complexity of dealership operations.
“As dealership operations grow more complex, ongoing education becomes even more important,” Brown said. “Our programs are designed to help professionals stay current, improve performance, and build sustainable careers in the RV industry.”
