Registration is now open for the RV Technical Institute’s final Level 3 workshop of 2026, a two-day training program focused on the electronic specialty for RV technicians seeking advanced technical instruction.
The workshop is scheduled for Sept. 9-10 at the RV Technical Institute’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana. It marks the final Level 3 workshop offered by the institute this year and is designed to provide the training hours required for the electronic specialty area.
The curriculum includes instruction from several industry suppliers covering key RV electronic systems and components. Lippert will present a two-hour session on One Control X Series, while Winegard will provide four hours of Connectivity Tech Training.
Firefly Integrations will lead six hours of Firefly Training Academy instruction, and Garnet Instruments will conduct four hours on SeeLevel Holding Tank Monitoring Systems.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, the 2026 Level 3 workshop series has focused on three specialty areas for RV technicians interested in expanding their expertise in RV systems and components.Â
Level 3 training is intended to prepare technicians to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs on RV systems. Each workshop provides all of the training hours required for its designated specialty.
The registration fee for the electronics workshop is $60.
The institute introduced the Level 3 workshop format in 2024 to make advanced training more accessible for technicians. Each workshop has concentrated on one of the institute’s five specialty areas. The series continued in 2026 with workshops covering three different specialties, concluding with the electronics-focused session in September.
Technicians who are unable to attend the final workshop will still have access to Level 3 training opportunities through the RV Technical Institute’s authorized supplier training programs, which continue to be offered throughout the year.
The institute said the supplier-led courses provide an alternative pathway for technicians pursuing Level 3 specialty training outside the scheduled workshop series.
