Bar Run Golf & RV Resort Highlights Extended-Stay Packages for Fall and Winter Travelers

Bar Run Golf & RV Resort in Roseburg, Oregon, is focusing on fall and winter travelers with extended-stay RV packages that combine discounted golf with longer-term accommodations at the Southern Oregon property.

The resort offers 66 full-hookup RV sites, many located alongside the golf course, as well as six private cottages overlooking the fairways.

The extended-stay packages are designed for visitors staying for weeks or months and include discounted golf during their stay, along with access to laundry facilities, indoor restrooms and a jacuzzi.

The golf course recently ranked No. 14 on Golfweek’s list of Oregon’s Best Public-Access Courses.  “While many golf destinations slow down once summer ends, Bar Run Golf & RV Resort in Roseburg, Ore., is leaning into the offseason. The resort is home to one of the state’s most highly regarded golf courses,” the resort said.

The course measures 6,215 yards from the back tees and is a par-70 layout designed by Pacific Northwest architect Dan Hixson.

Bar Run is situated along the South Umpqua River in Roseburg, in the Umpqua Valley. The surrounding area includes a wine region, scenic drives, river recreation and hiking opportunities, according to the resort.

The property is also offering an offseason lodging promotion for RV and cottage stays between October and March.

The offer provides a second night at half price when guests purchase the first night.

Bar Run opened in 2022 and was developed and owned by the local Guido family on a reclaimed sand-gravel mine.

In addition to the golf course and RV accommodations, the resort includes a resort-style pool complex with a lazy river and hot tub.

The resort’s offseason offerings position its golf course and accommodations as a combined destination for visitors seeking longer stays during fall and winter.

“Bar Run is also encouraging return visits with offseason lodging promotions, including a buy-one-night, get-the-second-night-half-off offer for RV and cottage stays between October and March. Together, the packages reflect a broader shift toward slower travel, longer stays, and destinations that offer more than just a round of golf,” the resort adds.

The packages also provide RV travelers with access to golf and other resort amenities without limiting stays to a single overnight visit.

Bar Run’s 66 RV spaces are described as full-amenity sites, while its six cottages provide additional lodging options overlooking the course. The resort operates as a year-round property serving golfers, RV travelers and families.

The resort is located in Roseburg, Oregon, along the South Umpqua River and provides access to both its golf course and lodging facilities from the same property.
