New Grand Design Lineage Series E Brings Expanded Storage and Comfort to Class

Grand Design RV has introduced the Lineage Series E, a new Class C motorhome designed to expand the company’s motorized RV lineup with a focus on comfort, storage and owner-focused features.

The new series is built on the Ford E-450 chassis and is expected to begin arriving at Grand Design dealer locations in mid-July.

The Lineage Series E expands Grand Design’s motorized portfolio following the introduction of the Lineage Series M and Series F models. The new Class C platform is intended to provide RV travelers with a combination of practical functionality and premium amenities.

“With the Lineage Series E, we saw an opportunity to bring the premium design, storage capacity and owner-focused features Grand Design is known for into a Class C platform that many RV travelers already trust,” Mike Hums, product manager for Grand Design’s Class C motorized line, said in a press release.

“The Series E was designed to deliver a more comfortable ownership experience, from its spacious floorplan and king bed to its ride quality and storage solutions, while maintaining the confidence and reliability of the Ford E-450 platform,” Hums said.

The launch includes the new 30DC floorplan, which features a residential-inspired interior designed to maximize living space, comfort and storage. The model was developed for RVers seeking a motorized coach that balances drivability with premium features for weekend trips and extended travel.

The Lineage Series E features a Ford E-450 chassis equipped with a 7.3L V8 gas engine, a FOX Factory suspension package designed to improve ride quality and handling, a 70-inch by 80-inch residential king bed, expanded exterior storage capacity, full-body paint options, and a spacious living area.

The new Class C motorhome also includes Grand Design’s 2-Year Limited Warranty and 3-Year Structural Warranty. The Series E continues the design approach established across the Lineage family while emphasizing comfort, storage and ease of use.

“As we continue to grow our presence in the motorized RV market, we’re focused on creating products that reflect how people travel today,” Hums said. “The Series E delivers the function, comfort and reliability customers expect while making high-quality motorized travel more approachable for a broader range of buyers.”

Grand Design RV, headquartered in Middlebury, Indiana, manufactures towable and motorized RVs, including fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, destination trailers and the Lineage motorized product line. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Winnebago Industries.
