According to the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA), the RV industry is gearing up for the much-anticipated RV Fixed Operations Certification Week, set to take place from March 5-11.
The event is a collaboration between the Society of Certified RV Professionals, the RV Technical Institute, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, and it seeks to recognize the hard work and dedication of fixed operations professionals, including employees working in RV service, parts, and warranty administration.
The RV Fixed Operations Certification Week is an excellent opportunity for professionals in the RV industry to pursue professional development and expand their skills.
The RV Learning Center’s parts and service management certification programs provide certifications for individuals in various roles, such as parts managers, parts specialists, service writers/advisors, service managers, and warranty administrators.
The RV Technical Institute, a world-class training center for RV maintenance and repair, offers Level 1 and Level 2 training and certification programs for RV technicians through its online courses and live classes held at its Elkhart (Indiana) training center. Additionally, the institute has a national network of Authorized Learning Partners, providing training and certification to RV technicians across the country.
In recognition of their efforts, individuals who earn a new certification during the RV Fixed Operations Certification Week will receive a free one-year subscription to the RV Fixed Operations Today website.
This is a testament to the commitment of the RV industry to professional development and continuous training.
Curt Hemmeler, president of the RV Technical Institute and RV Industry Association Senior Vice President, said, “Certification Week is a great time to recognize the men and women who have already achieved industry certification while encouraging newer hires to pursue professional development opportunities.”
RV Dealers Association President Phil Ingrassia echoed this sentiment, stating, “Training and certification programs for fixed operations professionals has never been more accessible or affordable.”
The RV Technical Institute is dedicated to reducing the RV industry’s shortfall of trained technicians and improving the RV consumer experience by reducing repair event cycle time.
The Society of Certified RV Professionals, on the other hand, aims to encourage professional development and continuous training and provides scholarships to long-certified professionals to attend and participate in the education sessions offered annually at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo.
The RV Fixed Operations Certification Week is an excellent opportunity for RV industry professionals to celebrate their achievements and take their careers to the next level.
