goHomePort RV Service and Repairs marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its sixth location in Warren, Michigan. The event was distinguished by the presentation of a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman John James of Michigan’s 10th District, recognizing the company’s outstanding service to the community.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the new shop, located at 6900 E. 14 Mile Road, alongside Warren RV Storage. Lisa Damon-Brown, director of community relations for Congressman John James, presented the award, which was accepted by Mike Douglas, president of goHomePort, and Mike Low, operations manager for the Warren location.
John Long, vice president of marketing and business development for the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce, officiated the event, attended by local dignitaries including Macomb County Commissioner Gus Ghanam and Warren City Council Vice-President Melody Magee, according to the press release.
goHomePort, launched in 2020, has quickly expanded with a mission to make RV ownership more accessible and hassle-free. The company has built a strong reputation for guest service from its operations in Colorado and Missouri, aiming to replicate this success in Michigan.
The new Warren location offers convenient valet service for stored RVs, reducing wait times and enhancing customer experience with its state-of-the-art service bays.
The new shop provides a comprehensive range of services, including RV and trailer repairs, maintenance, and custom installations such as battery system upgrades, solar panels, and towing systems.
Mike Douglas expressed gratitude for the community’s support and the collective efforts that contributed to the opening.
