The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) announced that it will recognize three organizations with its annual awards during its Aug. 24 annual meeting and member dinner, while highlighting a series of recent achievements by member campgrounds and industry professionals across Michigan.
According to MARVAC, the 2026 awards will recognize Veurink’s RV Center with the Dealership Innovation Award, Keystone RV with the RV of the Year Award for the 2027 Montana, and Woodland Shores RV Resort as Campground of the Year.
The awards program honors individuals and organizations whose leadership, service and compassion have made a meaningful impact on Michigan’s RV and campground community.
“Congratulations are in order! The MARVAC Awards recognize individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, and compassion have made a meaningful impact on Michigan’s RV and campground community,” the association announces.
Several MARVAC-member campgrounds also received regional recognition during the summer. Manistique Lakeshore Campground was named one of the Best Places to Camp in the Midwest by The Dyrt. The campground is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Indigo Bluffs RV Park & Resort in Empire also earned regional recognition after being identified by Islands Publications as one of the Midwest’s most popular campgrounds. The property is located near Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
Frankenmuth Jellystone Park Campground Resort marked multiple milestones this summer, celebrating 50 years of operation, 45 years of family ownership in the campground business and 30 years as a Jellystone Park location. The anniversary recognizes the campground’s long-standing presence in Michigan’s outdoor hospitality industry.
In addition, Squatch Pines Family Campground in Prudenville, one of MARVAC’s newest members, celebrated its grand opening on June 20, expanding the association’s network of campground operators in Michigan.
