Cadillac KOA Holiday Welcomes New Owners Bobbi Jo and Dan Beyersdorf

Bobbi Jo and Dan Beyersdorf are the new owners of the Cadillac KOA Holiday in northern Michigan, according to Kampgrounds of America (KOA), adding new ownership to one of the region’s family camping destinations.

The campground, located just outside downtown Cadillac, offers RV sites, Deluxe Cabins, tent camping and premium KOA Patio RV Sites.

Its amenities include a heated swimming pool, a new Aqua Park with a swimming pond and inflatable obstacle course, Water Wars, a jumping pillow, themed weekend activities, nearby hiking trails and KampK9.

“We’re honored to continue the tradition of welcoming campers to Cadillac,” said Bobbi Jo Beyersdorf, owner of the Cadillac KOA Holiday.

“Our goal is to create a place where families can unplug, spend time together and make memories that last long after their vacation ends. We’re excited to build on everything guests already love about this campground while continuing to invest in experiences they’ll want to return to year after year,” Beyersdorf added.

The campground provides access to boating, fishing, hiking, ORV activities and year-round attractions in the Cadillac area, with forests, inland lakes and recreational trails surrounding the property.

The ownership change comes as KOA cites the economic impact of camping on local communities.

According to the company’s annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report, campers spent $66 billion in local economies in 2025, with the average camper spending more than $200 per day while camping.

The report also found that 33% of campers were interested in visiting small towns, while 38% were drawn to historic sites. The KOA’s campgrounds can serve as base camps for travelers exploring surrounding communities and outdoor attractions.

The Cadillac KOA Holiday is among more than 500 KOA campgrounds open to the public in the United States and Canada.

The KOA system also includes KOA Journeys and KOA Resorts, which offer different campground formats and amenities.

The Cadillac property is located at 10621 E 34 Road, also known as Boon Road. It is scheduled to operate from May 1 through Oct. 15, 2026.

The campground offers full-service RV sites with KOA Patio amenities and Deluxe Cabins with full bathrooms, along with other camping accommodations and family-oriented facilities.
