Maxxair to Launch RVTI Level 3 Training Program for RV Ventilation Systems in Fall 2026

Maxxair will introduce a new RV Technical Institute (RVTI) Level 3 accredited training program in early fall 2026, expanding technical education opportunities for professional RV technicians servicing the company’s ventilation products.

The new course is designed to provide advanced instruction on the installation, diagnosis and servicing of Maxxfan and Maxxair ventilation systems.

Approved for 1.5 RVTI credit hours, the program focuses on strengthening technicians’ diagnostic capabilities and reducing repeat service visits through more accurate troubleshooting.

The curriculum includes training on printed circuit board (PCB) troubleshooting, motor and lift system diagnostics, keypad and ribbon cable issues, and identifying manual versus automatic lift mechanisms. According to the company, the course is intended to help technicians improve repair accuracy while minimizing product misdiagnosis.

“Airxcel’s training program is designed to support the RV service industry by providing consistent, high-quality education aligned with real-world technician practices,” said Tracey Viburg, director of customer service at Airxcel.

“Through Maxxair’s RVTI Level 3 accredited training, technicians gain advanced technical knowledge regarding RV ventilation airflow systems, enabling them to diagnose problems more efficiently, enhance repair precision and ultimately deliver superior service for RV owners,” Viburg said.

The training program expands Airxcel’s portfolio of RVTI-accredited technical education offerings. Maxxair joins the company’s existing lineup of accredited training programs, which includes Velarium, Dicor, Aqua-Hot, Suburban and Coleman-Mach.

According to the announcement, the standardized training programs are intended to improve service consistency, increase technician efficiency and support the overall RV ownership experience through enhanced technical education.

Registration for the Maxxair training course is scheduled to open in September 2026. Technicians and service professionals will be able to register through Airxcel’s product training registration platform ahead of the program’s launch in early fall.

Maxxair, based in Wichita, Kansas, manufactures RV ventilation products, including vent covers and ventilation fans. Founded in 1989, the company operates as part of the Airxcel family of brands.

Airxcel, also headquartered in Wichita, designs, manufactures and distributes products for the recreational vehicle industry.
