RVi and TenPoint Services to Present Glamping Project Development Field Guide During July 22 Webinar

RVi and TenPoint Services will host a Lunch & Learn webinar July 22 focused on helping glamping developers evaluate project readiness, identify risks and plan development decisions before major investments are made.

The session, titled “A Ten Point Field Guide: Practical Diagnostic for Building and Expanding Glamping Projects,” is scheduled for 11 a.m. MST as part of an AGA Virtual Meet-Up Session.

The webinar will feature Matt Small, director of landscape architecture at RVi, and Kenny Reed, vice president of construction and development at TenPoint Services. Ruben Martinez will serve as moderator.

The presentation will focus on a diagnostic framework designed for developers building new glamping projects, expanding existing parks or renovating outdoor hospitality properties.

According to the session description, the field guide is intended to help attendees evaluate project conditions, identify areas requiring additional review and determine next steps before committing significant capital.

The webinar will examine project categories, including guest demand, site conditions, capital planning, operations, scheduling, entitlements, design, procurement, cost management and quality assurance.

Attendees will learn how to identify where project risks are concentrated and recognize early indicators that a project area may require additional research, professional guidance or external validation before moving forward.

The session will also cover methods for distinguishing between “green-light,” “yellow-light” and “red-light” conditions when determining whether to proceed with a project, pause development or revise specific components.

Additional topics will include sequencing major decisions before spending begins, with emphasis on guest demand, site constraints, entitlement feasibility, capital strategy and infrastructure planning.
