Jellystone Park Locations Offer Fall and Halloween Festivities Across North America

As the summer season winds down, Jellystone Park locations across North America are gearing up for a series of fall and Halloween-themed weekends, drawing families to enjoy an array of activities that celebrate the season. 

Starting in early September and running through late October, these events feature a mix of traditional fall fun and spooky Halloween attractions, making them a choice for families looking to extend their camping experiences into the cooler months.

Jellystone Park, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and themed weekends, offers activities such as scarecrow making, apple bobbing, and caramel apple stations during its fall weekends. 

As Halloween approaches, the parks transform with haunted trails, trick-or-treating, costume contests, and spooky crafts, providing entertainment for all ages. These events are particularly popular in the weeks leading up to Halloween, with many parks reporting some of their busiest weekends during this time.

According to a press release, Jellystone Park in Big Prairie, Ohio, will host its annual “Apple Dumpling Weekend” in late September, featuring homemade apple dumplings, wagon rides, and a corn maze. 

In Caledonia, Wisconsin, families can participate in six consecutive Halloween-themed weekends, including a “Zombie Apocalypse Weekend” with spine-tingling activities like a “Zombie Doctor” and a “Zombie Relay.”

Other locations, such as the park in Carsonville, Michigan, offer a mix of fall and Halloween activities. Their “Harvest Hoedown Weekend” in mid-September includes dance instruction and a line dance event, followed by a series of Halloween-themed weekends with pumpkin painting, haunted trails, and costume contests. 

Jellystone Park in Fremont, Indiana, also features a lineup of fall and Halloween activities. Beginning in early September, the park offers weekends filled with pumpkin rolling, caramel apple stations, and doggie pool days. The Halloween season kicks off in late September with six consecutive weekends of trick-or-treating, costume contests, and campsite decorating.

In the southwest, the new Jellystone Park location in Hurricane, Utah, invites guests to participate in themed weekends like “Spooky Witch Weekend” and “Zombie Apocalypse Weekend.” These events include magic tricks, broomstick rides, and zombie-themed games, providing a unique twist on traditional Halloween activities..

In the Midwest, parks like those in Lodi, California, and New Douglas, Illinois, guest can celebrate the season with a blend of fall festivals and Halloween-themed activities. Lodi’s “Holiday Shake Up Weekends” in early September feature Easter egg rockets and Christmas games, transitioning into fall and Halloween themes with pumpkin rolling and trick-or-treating. New Douglas offers a “Fall Festival Weekend” and a series of Halloween-themed weekends with activities like mummy wrapping races and zombie scavenger hunts.
