The Campground Conference & Trade Show, a key event for campground and outdoor hospitality professionals, has announced its return to the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area from March 3 to March 5, 2025. The annual gathering, which attracts industry professionals nationwide, aims to foster education and networking among campground owners and operators.
The event, previously hosted under the name Mid-Atlantic Campground Conference & Trade Show, will continue to build on its reputation for bringing together leaders in the campground and outdoor hospitality sectors.
Conference Coordinator Joann DelVescio confirmed the location and dates, encouraging early planning among potential attendees, sponsors, and vendors.
DelVescio emphasized the importance of the conference in advancing the industry. “We’re still in the planning stages, of course,” she said, “But we want attendees, sponsors, and vendors to save the date and plan on attending. Registration forms and the conference schedule will be released soon.”
DelVescio also announced a call for proposals from potential speakers, targeting a range of topics crucial for modern campground operations. These include marketing, customer service, business management, government relations, as well as personal and professional health.
The significance of such gatherings is evident from the success of the previous year’s conference, which was hosted by the New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA). The 2024 conference featured 46 attendees from 27 parks spanning 11 states and Puerto Rico. It served as a platform for sharing best practices and learning from peers.
The educational component of the Campground Conference, themed “See and Be Seen,” is particularly valuable. Sessions and workshops are designed to address the evolving challenges and opportunities within the campground industry, equipping operators with the skills and knowledge to thrive in a competitive market.
