Mid-Atlantic Campground Conference Rebrands to The Campground Conference

At the 33rd annual Mid-Atlantic Campground Conference & Trade Show, held on February 20 during a luncheon event, event coordinator Joann DelVescio announced the rebranding of the event as The Campground Conference & Trade Show. The conference will be a gathering of industry professionals from the campground, RV park, and outdoor hospitality sectors.

The rebranding was unveiled at the conference’s current venue, the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs Resort Area, near Orlando, Florida, indicating a strategic shift in the event’s branding and marketing approach. The rationale behind the rebranding, as explained by DelVescio, stems from a desire to transcend the geographical limitations of the old name.

Mia Caetano Johnson of Northeast Campground Brokers and Justin Turner, Esq. of Shoreside Legal, LLC (also co-owner of Ocean View Resort Campground in New Jersey) discuss market factors and the effect on your campground business at the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Campground Conference & Trade Show in Buena Vista, Florida. “The Mid-Atlantic Conference & Trade Show has always been open to everyone in the campground, RV park, and outdoor hospitality industry, but it’s hard to sell that with the word Mid-Atlantic in the title. We want everyone to know they should come to The Campground Conference & Trade Show because it is the place to see and be seen,” DelVescio said, as quoted in the press release.

Following the announcement, immediate updates were made to the conference’s digital presence. The official website, www.campgroundconference.com, now displays the new brand logo and promises upcoming details about the 2025 conference.

Additionally, DelVescio encouraged stakeholders to follow the event’s Facebook group page, which serves as a hub for the latest information and networking opportunities related to The Campground Conference & Trade Show.

The conference is currently in session and is scheduled to conclude today, February 21, with a farewell luncheon. This event marks the transition to the new branding, setting a precedent for future conferences under the new name to enhance the conference’s accessibility to a wider audience, including campground and RV park owners, glamping resort operators, industry suppliers, and other professionals connected to outdoor hospitality.
