According to its latest blog post, campground guests can now cancel their reservation online at any campground that activates the feature.
To cancel an existing reservation, guests can sign in, click their account email and select “Reservations”, determine their reservation and tap “View Details”, and click the “Cancel Reservation” button.
After the last step, guests can view a cancellation summary that includes the reservation total and cancellation fee listed by the campground. The “Total Refund Due” can be found at the bottom of the page. To complete the cancellation process, guests must click “Continue,” prompting them to receive an email where they must confirm the cancellation.
Meanwhile, park owners or managers must make sure that their campground cancellation policy is up to date. They can go to Rules > Policy > Cancellation Policy. When all set, they can then activate online cancellations in their Campspot Portal by scrolling to the bottom of the page and toggling the checkmark under “Online Cancellations”. To complete the process, they must click “save changes”.
