Boyer Park & Marina/Snake River KOA Holiday Announces New Management

Lakeside Companies has acquired the concessionaire lease for Boyer Park & Marina/Snake River KOA Holiday near Colfax, Washington, taking over management of the waterfront campground and full-service marina while continuing the property’s partnership with Kampgrounds of America.

The lease expands Lakeside’s operations on the Palouse and Snake River and includes a commitment to preserving and enhancing Boyer Park, according to a Sept. 2 announcement. The park offers waterfront camping, marina access and direct access to the Snake River.

“The Palouse has been a meaningful part of Lakeside for more than 20 years, so Boyer Park felt like a natural fit for us,” Reilly Roach, general manager, said. “We’re excited to continue its legacy and work alongside our partners to support its long-term success.”

Shawndee Rohde, site manager, said the park provides opportunities for camping, boating and fishing and that Lakeside plans to build on its reputation as a recreation destination.

The Port of Whitman County, which has provided on-water recreational opportunities through Boyer Park and Marina since 1972, said it will work with Lakeside as the new concessionaire.

“Over the years, Boyer has been managed by several concessionaires that provided excellent customer service and preserved the park’s beauty,” Port of Whitman County Commission President Karl Webber said. “The Port is happy to work with Lakeside Companies as the new concessionaire. We appreciate their commitment to continuing Boyer’s legacy of pristine recreation on the Snake River.”

Boyer Park offers RV sites, cabins and tent camping, along with a full-service marina and access to fishing and boating on the Snake River.

The property also provides a family-oriented setting and river views.

KOA will remain the hospitality partner for Boyer Park under the new management arrangement.

Lakeside said it plans to invest in the guest experience through improvements, local partnerships and other efforts at the park. The company also expects the property to continue contributing to the regional economy by attracting visitors who patronize local businesses, attractions and service providers.

Lakeside Companies is based in Idaho and operates businesses and entrepreneurial ventures across the Inland Northwest. The Port of Whitman County owns and oversees Boyer Park and Marina.
