Airxcel Names Chris Robinson President of Suburban and Aqua-Hot

Airxcel, a manufacturer of RV appliances and components, announced Feb. 2 that Chris Robinson has been promoted to president of Suburban, with Aqua-Hot now aligned under his leadership.

Robinson will oversee strategy, operations, and customer experience for both brands, guiding their growth in the RV market.

Robinson joined Suburban as general manager in 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations.

During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and support for OEMs, distributors, and RV owners.

In his new role, Robinson will shape the long-term vision for Suburban and Aqua-Hot, ensuring the companies continue delivering heating and hot water solutions designed for modern RV lifestyles.

“Chris has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to our customers and partners since joining Suburban,” Anthony Wollschlager, Airxcel President and CEO, said in a press release.

“His deep operational expertise, strategic mindset, and ability to bring teams together across brands make him the right leader to guide both Suburban and Aqua-Hot into their next phase of growth,” Wollschlager added.

Suburban, headquartered in Dayton, Tennessee, has been a manufacturer of RV water heaters, furnaces, gas accessories, and steps for more than 75 years. The company became part of Airxcel in 1998 and is recognized for its innovation and commitment to enhancing RV comfort.

Aqua-Hot Heating Systems, founded in 1984, produces hydronic heating solutions for RVs, compatible with diesel, gasoline, or propane fuels. Its products are designed for versatility across a wide range of RV applications.

Airxcel, based in Wichita, Kansas, is the designer, manufacturer, and distributor of essential RV products. The company operates 18 brands across 15 facilities in the United States and Europe, supplying critical systems and components to the RV industry.
