RV Technical Institute Sets Oct. 31 Deadline for Kevin Phillips Scholarship Applications

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) will accept fourth-quarter applications for the Kevin Phillips Scholarship through Oct. 31, providing financial assistance for RV technician training to recent high school graduates, people leaving the military and individuals who decided college was not the right path for them.

Applicants must submit completed applications by Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, to Scholarship@RVTI.org. The institute plans to notify applicants of approval or denial on Nov. 30.

The scholarship covers the cost of an individual subscription for RV technician training through RVTI, helping eligible applicants access training without having to pay the subscription cost themselves.

The program is intended to support people entering the workforce or transitioning out of military service by reducing the financial barriers associated with technician training. It also aims to help recruit additional technicians into the RV industry.

The Kevin Phillips Scholarship is named in honor of an industry leader and focuses on providing financial support to individuals pursuing RV technician education.

Eligible applicants include recent high school graduates, people leaving the military and those who have tried college but determined it was not the right fit.

The fourth-quarter application deadline represents the final opportunity to apply for the scholarship in 2026, according to the announcement.
