Campground operators will learn strategies for increasing revenue through dynamic pricing, reservation add-ons and guest incentives during a session scheduled for Oct. 14 at the Texas Association of Campground Owners’ (TACO) event.
The session, titled “Make More $ with Dynamic Pricing & Other Ideas for Increasing Revenue,” is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Central Daylight Time and will be presented by Storable Newbook, TACO’s preferred provider for online reservation software.
The presentation will focus on how campground operators can adjust rates according to demand, occupancy and seasonality, as well as increase the value of individual reservations through additional products and services.
Operators will also examine ways to encourage guests to extend their stays through targeted promotions and incentives. The session is designed to provide practical approaches for generating additional revenue from existing bookings without adding more work for staff.
Additional revenue opportunities include selling firewood and propane, offering golf cart rentals, charging for late checkout and providing other guest amenities. The presentation will address how these products and services can increase transaction values while contributing to the guest experience.
The session will also cover add-ons, upsells and bundled offers as methods for increasing the amount guests spend during a reservation. These approaches allow operators to offer additional products or services alongside a campsite booking rather than relying solely on the nightly rate.
Dynamic pricing will be another central topic, with the presentation examining how operators can set prices in response to changes in demand, occupancy and seasonal conditions. The session description identifies these factors as considerations for campground pricing strategies.
The presentation will provide campground owners and operators with ideas they can apply to reservation processes, pricing decisions and ancillary sales.
