Go RVing’s Ultimate RV Tailgate Draws 8,000 at Miami-Clemson Game

Go RVing’s 2026 Ultimate RV Tailgate drew 8,000 attendees during its Oct. 3 activation at the University of Miami-Clemson football game at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, with more than 700 people touring the featured RV during the five-and-a-half-hour event.

The activation was positioned across the street from Memorial Stadium, next to ACCN Huddle, creating crossover between the RV display and the surrounding event activity. An adjacent hospitality area also maintained a steady presence of fans, with attendance increasing as game time approached.

The event was part of Go RVing’s second annual Ultimate RV Tailgate campaign, which is bringing RV-focused activations to major college football games across the country. The campaign also includes a sweepstakes offering fans the opportunity to win $10,000 toward an RV.

Attendees who toured the RV commented on its features and the potential for RV travel. One male attendee in his 20s said the experience made him interested in trying an RV for the first time.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, another attendee, a male in his 50s, connected the display to the tailgating environment surrounding the game, saying, “This makes so much sense. Have you seen the RV lot for tailgating? Quite the setups.”

A female attendee in her 40s highlighted the RV’s bathroom, saying, “That shower is huge. I could actually shave my legs in it, and I’m 5’10”.”

A male attendee in his 60s also praised the time spent demonstrating the RV, saying, “Thanks for spending so much time answering all my questions and showing me all the details.”

The 2026 campaign follows Go RVing’s inaugural Ultimate RV Tailgate, which was held the previous year. The current campaign is designed to bring RV travel to college football audiences through on-site activations at games nationwide.

At the Clemson event, the combination of the RV display, nearby hospitality area and its placement next to ACCN Huddle put the activation in a high-traffic location around Memorial Stadium. More college football game activations are planned as part of the nationwide campaign.
