Glamping Show Americas is approaching its Sept. 29-30 run at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colorado, with more than 150 exhibitors and a conference program covering glamping investment, alternative financing, demand generation, pricing and wellness-focused hospitality.
The event is expected to feature more than 150 exhibitors from around the world, representing suppliers in areas including furnishings, off-grid technology, booking software and wellness amenities. The show is positioned to serve both established outdoor hospitality operators and entrepreneurs entering the glamping market.
The conference program will include sessions addressing investment, guest behavior, business models, funding strategies, marketing and revenue generation. Sessions are scheduled for Sept. 29 as part of the American Glamping Association’s pre-show expert roundtable programming.
The first session, “Understanding the Data: What Will Still Work in Glamping in 2030, and What Won’t?” is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Whitney Scott of Walden, Scott Bahr of Cairn Consulting Group and Shari Heilala of Sage Outdoor Advisory are listed as speakers. The session will focus on glamping investment, guest behavior and business models in the United States.
“Beyond the Bank: Creative Funding Strategies That Actually Work” is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Nick Purslow of Posh Outdoors and Leslie Martin of Lagom Retreat will discuss capital-raising approaches for boutique hospitality projects, with Steph Curtis Raleigh leading the panel.
A session from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., “The Modern Hospitality Demand Engine: Build It Once. Fill It Forever.,” will examine techniques intended to support demand generation, increase average daily rate, reduce reliance on online travel agencies and improve pricing control. Ben Wolff, a hospitality developer, operator and marketer and founder of a growth agency serving properties with more than $1 million in revenue, is scheduled to lead the workshop.
The final session, “Where Glamping Meets Transformation: How Retreats and Wellness Are Reshaping Revenue,” will run from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Shannon Jamail of The Retreat Ranch and Keva Niver of Boheme Retreats are scheduled to discuss business models combining glamping, transformational retreats and wellness experiences. Sarah Riley will lead the session.
The American Glamping Association will also host hands-on roundtable sessions designed to provide industry participants with feedback on business growth and site development.
