A session at the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo will examine how dealership sales processes can help manage inventory age and reduce the costs associated with moving older units from the sales lot.
According to a press release, Jered Sobel, president of Sobel University, will lead the session, “Manage Your Inventory Age Through the Sales Manager,” at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Versailles 4 room at Paris Las Vegas.
The session is part of the Dealer/GM education track.
The session will focus on the roles salespeople and sales managers can play in controlling inventory age through the dealership’s sales process.
According to the event announcement, each dealership employee has a role in maintaining healthy inventory and minimizing the costs of moving aged inventory.
Sobel’s presentation will address ways sales teams and managers can use the sales process to manage the age of inventory rather than relying on more costly methods to move older units.
The session’s learning objectives include identifying actions salespeople can take during the sales process to help managers control inventory and recognizing the most critical stage of the sales process for moving aged inventory.
Attendees also will examine how to reduce reliance on “costly last-resort methods” for moving old inventory, according to the session description.
The education session is one of the offerings scheduled during the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, which will take place Nov. 9-13 at Paris Las Vegas.
The event is sponsored by RVDA of U.S., RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
Early-bird registration rates for the convention are available through Sept. 3, according to the announcement.
