Sarah Turner of Tim’s RV Receives 2026 RV Learning Center $5,000 College Scholarship

Sarah Turner of Erving, Massachusetts, has been awarded the 2026 Mike Molino RV Learning Center $5,000 College Scholarship for the 2026-27 academic year, recognizing her academic achievement and commitment to the recreational vehicle industry.

Turner will enter her senior year at Liberty University this fall, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Data Analysis: Project Management. She maintains a 4.0 GPA while working part time as a service writer at Tim’s RV Inc. in Erving.

According to the RV Learning Center, Turner grew up in an RV family and has continued to build a career in the industry.

As part of her professional development, she completed the Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s Service Writer training course.

The scholarship program, now in its 26th year, awarded Turner the annual $5,000 scholarship available to one undergraduate student pursuing studies related to the RV industry.

“This year marks the 26th year of the RV Learning Center Scholarship program, and we received a record number of applications from outstanding students who are passionate about their education and the future of the RV industry,” said Ally Brown, education director of the RV Learning Center.

“Choosing a recipient was incredibly difficult because so many applicants demonstrated impressive academic accomplishments, leadership, and a genuine enthusiasm for our industry,” Brown said.

“Sarah’s lifelong connection to RVing, her work as a service writer, and her commitment to growing her knowledge and skills made her a standout candidate. We have no doubt that she will go far, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the RV Learning Center community and the future of the RV industry,” Brown added.

The announcement also highlighted Turner’s academic record, passion for the RV industry and dedication to serving others as qualities that position her among the industry’s next generation of leaders.

According to a press release, Tim Christenson, owner of Tim’s RV Inc., said the dealership is proud of Turner’s accomplishment.

“We are excited to share this announcement and are extremely proud of Sarah for taking the initiative to apply for this opportunity,” Christenson said.

Turner’s father, Brandon Turner, also works at Tim’s RV as the service department manager.

The scholarship is funded through support from the Kindlund family and reflects the commitment of Newt and Joanne Kindlund to helping develop future leaders in the RV industry.

Eligible applicants include rising sophomores, juniors and seniors pursuing degrees in business, finance, economics, accounting or other RV industry-related fields.

Students currently working in the RV industry, those with family connections to the sector or those aspiring to enter the industry are encouraged to apply.
