Go RVing Creator Summit Brings First-Time RV Experience to Outdoor Influencers With 4.1 Million Followers

Go RVing hosted its inaugural Creator Summit in June, bringing 10 outdoor adventure content creators with a combined audience of more than 4.1 million followers to experience RV travel for the first time as part of an effort to introduce the lifestyle to new consumer segments.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA, the event took place at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountain campground in Granby, Colorado, where participants were immersed in the RV lifestyle while exploring nearby outdoor recreation opportunities.

According to Go RVing, the initiative focused on reaching outdoor enthusiasts who regularly participate in activities such as hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing and ATV riding but have not previously considered RV travel.

The summit was designed to present RVs as a travel option for active families, couples and solo adventurers by demonstrating how the vehicles can serve as a basecamp for outdoor recreation. Throughout the event, creators combined outdoor activities with campground accommodations located near Rocky Mountain National Park.

The experience highlighted key aspects of the RV lifestyle, including the convenience of traveling with an RV and the sense of community associated with campground stays. Participants spent their days exploring nearby trails and rivers before returning to the resort campground each evening.

In addition to experiencing campground amenities, the creators toured a display of RV models representing several segments of the industry. The showcase included a Class B van from DM Vans, a lightweight towable RV from Jayco, and fifth-wheel and travel trailer models from Keystone.

The variety of vehicles was intended to demonstrate the range of RV options available to travelers with different camping preferences and travel styles.

As part of the campaign, the creators are expected to share content from their first RV experience across multiple digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Substack.

Go RVing said the content will be distributed to their combined audience over the coming weeks.

The campaign aims to introduce millions of consumers to RV travel through creators who are already established voices in the outdoor adventure community.

Rather than focusing on existing RV owners, the initiative targets people who are active in outdoor recreation but have not yet considered RVing as part of their travel experiences.

The Creator Summit marks Go RVing’s first event of its kind, using social media creators’ firsthand experiences to expand awareness of the RV lifestyle among new audiences.
