Lagoon Ranch RV Resort in Onalaska, Texas, has announced a Father’s Day weekend schedule that will feature recreational activities, live entertainment, movies and family-focused events from June 19-21.
The resort’s “Reel Cool Father’s Day Weekend” program includes activities designed for guests staying at the property during the holiday weekend, with events centered on outdoor recreation, wellness, family entertainment and fishing.
The weekend will begin June 19 with a Game & Gather Hour featuring a domino night at 5 p.m. The day will conclude with a screening of “Grown Ups 2” during the resort’s Lagoon Lights Movie Night at 7 p.m.
Activities on June 20 will start with a Sunrise Wellness Session featuring mat Pilates at 8 a.m. A Father’s Day Fishing Derby is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., followed by a Father’s Day hand-painting craft activity at 1 p.m.
Live music will be featured Saturday evening, with the Texas Crossroads Band scheduled to perform from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The final day of the weekend program, June 21, will include a coloring and activity station beginning at 11 a.m. Guests will also be able to watch “Finding Nemo” on the resort’s Jumbotron during a movie event scheduled for 2 p.m.
In addition to the scheduled activities, the resort highlighted access to its pool area, swim-up bar service, lakefront views and on-site dining from Pit Row Pit Stop On The Lake throughout the weekend.
Lagoon Ranch is situated on 37 waterfront acres along Lake Livingston and offers accommodations for RV travelers and cabin guests.
The property includes 194 full-hookup RV sites designed to accommodate large recreational vehicles. Resort amenities also include a 180,000-gallon lagoon-style pool and swim-up bar.
Lagoon Ranch said the resort is designed to serve a range of visitors, including families, extended-stay travelers, remote workers and organized RV groups.
The property also features fully furnished cabins for guests seeking alternatives to RV accommodations.
Additional amenities include a dance pavilion used for live music performances and access to fishing opportunities on Lake Livingston.
The Father’s Day weekend programming is intended to provide guests with a variety of recreational and entertainment options during the three-day holiday celebration at the resort.
