OHI Adds Jessica Turner to OHCE2026 Speaker Lineup

OHI has announced Jessica Turner, president of the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), as a featured speaker for the 2026 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE2026), scheduled for Nov. 9–11 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Turner is set to discuss the broader outdoor recreation industry and the policy, advocacy and economic forces affecting outdoor hospitality.

Her appearance comes as she prepares to leave ORR after eight years to become president and CEO of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership on Nov. 9.

Turner has nearly two decades of experience spanning federal policy, outdoor recreation advocacy, conservation, industry leadership and government relations.

She previously worked in the U.S. Department of the Interior and on Capitol Hill before becoming ORR’s first president.

During her tenure at ORR, Turner worked to bring together organizations across the outdoor recreation economy and advocated for policies related to outdoor access, infrastructure and the sector’s economic activity. ORR also helped advance legislation including the Great American Outdoors Act and EXPLORE Act.

“The outdoor hospitality industry is a vital engine of the broader $1.3 trillion outdoor recreation economy,” Turner said in a press release. “I’m thrilled to join leaders from across the sector in Fort Worth to discuss how we can continue working together to strengthen outdoor infrastructure, expand public access, and keep the outdoor economy strong for years to come.”

Turner also previously worked with the Outdoor Industry Association, where she played a role in securing formal government recognition of outdoor recreation as one of the nation’s leading economic sectors.

At the Interior Department, she managed external relations for the secretary and worked on national outdoor recreation initiatives including First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Outside and Let’s Move! in Indian Country programs.

Paul Bambei, president and CEO of OHI, said Turner’s experience across government, business and outdoor recreation will provide OHCE attendees with a broader perspective on factors affecting outdoor hospitality.

“Jessica brings a perspective that reaches well beyond any one segment of outdoor recreation,” Bambei said. “Her experience working across government, business, and the broader outdoor recreation community will give OHCE attendees a valuable look at the forces shaping the future of outdoor hospitality.”

Turner will remain with ORR through its leadership transition following her departure. At OHCE2026, she will address campground owners, operators, suppliers and other outdoor hospitality professionals as part of an event featuring more than 40 educational sessions and an Expo Hall.

OHCE2026 will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, with additional programming scheduled for Nov. 8 and Nov. 12.
