South Waco RV Park has opened in Hewitt, Texas, adding a new RV accommodation option for workers and other travelers seeking daily, weekly, or monthly stays in the Waco area.
Located at 6992 I-35 N Frontage Rd., the park is positioned near Interstate 35 and is designed to accommodate guests traveling to the region for work, including contractors, healthcare professionals, warehouse and logistics employees, and other temporary workers.
The property offers covered “Sun Shield” and uncovered “Sky View” RV sites, with each site providing full hookups for water, sewer, trash, and 30-amp/50-amp electrical service. Rates start at $55 per night, $350 per week, or $650 per month, plus tax. Each site includes a 17.5-by-40-foot RV pad and a 16-by-30-foot parking area. Electricity is individually metered and billed according to actual usage without a markup.

The park provides gated entry and 24/7 surveillance cameras, along with complimentary Wi-Fi and pet-friendly accommodations. Its location along I-35 also provides access to Baylor Scott & White – Hillcrest, Central Texas Marketplace, and nearby retail, dining, and other services.
South Waco RV Park is accepting reservations for daily, weekly, and monthly stays. The property also plans to add a laundromat and community center in the future.
For RV park operators, the opening reflects a business model focused on serving workforce and extended-stay demand rather than relying solely on traditional leisure travelers.
Offering multiple stay lengths, individually metered electricity, and site layouts that provide dedicated space for RVs and additional vehicles can help address the practical requirements of guests staying for employment assignments.
