Rossmönster Unveils American-Made Loft Class B Adventure Vehicle on 144-Inch Sprinter Chassis

Rossmönster has introduced the Loft, a new molded-body Class B adventure vehicle built on a 144-inch Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, marking what the Colorado-based manufacturer describes as the first American-made molded-body 144-inch Sprinter designed specifically for adventure travel.

The Loft will make its public debut at Overland Expo Pacific Northwest ahead of initial customer deliveries.

Built on a Mercedes-Benz 3500 all-wheel-drive chassis, the vehicle features a vacuum-infused camper shell intended to increase interior space while maintaining the maneuverability associated with the shorter Sprinter platform.

The Loft incorporates a modular interior designed to accommodate different travel and cargo needs. A queen-size elevator bed raises to create a living area that also functions as a dinette.

The dinette converts into a second bed, while the layout can also be reconfigured to provide a full-width rear garage with increased vertical storage space.

Additional design elements include triple rear access hatches and an expandable shower that also serves as a mudroom near the vehicle’s entrance to help separate wet gear from the main living area.

“Giving one space two jobs is hard to do well, and doing it without making the whole thing complicated is even harder,” said Luke Farny, Rossmönster co-founder and CEO. “The engineering team nailed both with this seemingly simple design, yet there is far more to this van than appears at first glance.”

According to Rossmönster, the vacuum-infused shell increases interior volume while improving insulation, supporting the vehicle’s modular layout and four-season capability.

The interior includes white oak cabinetry, hydronic heating with in-floor heat, a full wet bath, induction cooking equipment and a 130-liter refrigerator/freezer. The electrical system features 1,000 amp-hours of lithium battery capacity, a 440-watt walkable solar array, a 3,000-watt inverter and a digital control panel designed for extended off-grid travel.

The Loft also includes an adjustable suspension upgrade, a super single wheel conversion, exterior storage cabinets, rear MOLLE panels and wiring preparation for Starlink connectivity.

According to a press release, attendees at Overland Expo Pacific Northwest will be able to tour the vehicle in person.
