Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts to Host Mother’s Day Weekend Events Across U.S. and Canada

Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts is set to host a range of Mother’s Day weekend activities across more than 75 franchised locations in the United States and Canada, offering themed events designed to recognize and engage mothers and families.

“We welcome moms with a gift as soon as they check in,” said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, a Southfield, Michigan-based company that franchises the resorts.

The Mother’s Day programming includes a mix of crafts, contests and themed experiences such as “Mommy and Me” look-alike competitions, “Moms Only” paint-and-sip sessions and spa-style activities. Some locations will also organize scavenger hunts featuring photo challenges with family members.

Camp Jellystone operates its locations in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, incorporating branded entertainment and character appearances into its programming.

The resorts are known for combining family-oriented attractions with themed weekends that include activities such as mini golf, wagon rides and live entertainment.

Individual locations are tailoring their event lineups for the holiday weekend. In Lodi, California, activities include candy jewelry design, candy bar bingo and a “Momma Bear Craft & Sip.” In Larkspur, Colorado, guests can participate in a Mother’s Day tea and cookies event alongside a scavenger hunt focused on family photos.

In Pittsfield, Illinois, the schedule features cookie decorating, bracelet-making, karaoke and a Mother’s Day pancake breakfast. The Bloomington, Indiana, location will mark both the holiday and the seasonal opening of its pool, along with flower planting and painting activities.

Other locations emphasize interactive and family-driven programming. In Monticello, Iowa, events include a kids makeover for mothers and a Moms versus Kids game. In Madison, Maine, families can attend a pajama party, craft sessions and a movie night centered on Mother’s Day.

Michigan locations in Carsonville and South Haven will host tea parties, relay challenges, cupcake decorating and trivia games. Appearances by Yogi Bear, Boo Boo and Cindy Bear are also scheduled at select parks.

Additional themed events include the “Queen of the Campground Weekend” in Binghamton, New York, and extended programming in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, where activities will run throughout the week and include complimentary offerings for mothers such as mini golf and cookies Sunday.
