The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) has opened nominations for its annual awards program, recognizing individuals and companies that support the advancement of women across the recreational vehicle industry.
The awards will be presented during the organization’s Annual Educational Symposium in Chicago on Oct. 15.
The awards program highlights leadership, mentorship and organizational efforts that contribute to professional growth and inclusion within the RV industry.
Nominations are now being accepted, with a submission deadline of Aug. 15.
Four award categories will be presented during the symposium. The Trail Blazer Award recognizes a woman who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, forged a path for others and made a lasting impact on the RV industry.
The Leader of Tomorrow Award honors an emerging leader who has shown initiative, promise and a commitment to advancing the industry.
The organization will also present two Champion of Women awards. One recognizes an individual who actively supports, mentors and advocates for women in the workplace and throughout the RV industry. The second honors a company that demonstrates a commitment to creating opportunities, promoting inclusion and supporting the advancement of women.
“These awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the women and allies who are helping shape the future of our industry,” Susan Carpenter of the RV Women’s Alliance said in a News and Insights report of RVIA. “We encourage our members and industry partners to nominate the leaders, mentors, innovators, and organizations that are making a meaningful difference.”
The awards presentation is scheduled for the evening of Oct. 15 as part of the RV Women’s Alliance Annual Educational Symposium. According to the organization, the event brings together professionals from across the RV industry for educational sessions, networking opportunities, leadership development and recognition of industry achievements.
In addition to opening nominations, the association announced that early bird registration for the Educational Symposium is now available. The organization is encouraging attendees to register early to receive discounted pricing and reserve a place at the event.
The symposium serves as one of the organization’s signature annual gatherings, bringing together professionals from across the RV sector.
Winners of the annual awards will be recognized during the evening program as the alliance honors individuals and organizations whose contributions have supported leadership development and the advancement of women within the industry.
