RVDA Convention/Expo Session to Examine Adaptive Pricing and Market Intelligence

A 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo education session will examine how RV dealers can use market intelligence and adaptive pricing tools to make pricing, appraisal and inventory decisions as market conditions change.

According to a press release, Justin Marvin, co-founder and senior vice president at Rapidious, and Kishore Rajgopal, founder and CEO at Rapidious, will lead the session at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Champagne 1 room as part of the Dealer/GM track.

The session will focus on factors that can influence how quickly RVs sell and how long units remain in inventory. Topics will include competitive inventory, historical market activity, aggregated market data, sales velocity, time-to-sell, inventory age, and local and regional trends.

The presenters will discuss using market intelligence alongside, rather than relying primarily on, static book values, advertised asking prices and periodic manual reviews. The information can help dealers identify market changes and inform pricing, appraisal, stocking and acquisition decisions.

The session also will address indicators that inventory may be becoming aged, mispriced or more difficult to sell. Dealers will examine how changing market conditions can affect inventory turnover and stock-clearance objectives, as well as how carrying costs and potential margin erosion can become concerns as units age.

Learning objectives include identifying market conditions associated with differences in sales velocity and inventory age; evaluating pricing and appraisal decisions using market activity and time-to-sell data; and recognizing early signs that inventory may be becoming more difficult to sell.

Attendees also will examine how adaptive pricing tools can incorporate a dealership’s inventory position, regional differences, inventory age, turnover and stock-clearance objectives into individual decision-making.

The session will emphasize that competitive and aggregated market information can support dealership decisions while allowing each dealership to establish its own pricing and business strategy.

Each dealership remains responsible for determining its own prices, margins, discounts, inventory strategy and other competitive business decisions.

The 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo is scheduled for Nov. 9–13 at Paris Las Vegas. The event is sponsored by RVDA of the U.S., RVDA of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center. Early-bird registration rates are available through Sept. 3.
