The Dyrt Names 10 Best Places to RV in 2026 Based on Camper Reviews

The Dyrt has released its 2026 Best Places to RV list, recognizing 10 RV parks and campgrounds across the United States based on ratings and reviews from its camping community.

Announced May 27, the annual list, presented by Grand Design RV, highlights destinations selected for their scenic settings, amenities, cleanliness, proximity to attractions and customer service. The rankings come as RV travel continues to remain a popular form of camping.

The company said more than half of campers, or 52.2%, took at least one trip in an RV or trailer during 2025, according to findings from the 2026 Camping Report Presented by Toyota Trucks.

According to a press release, Kevin Long, CEO of The Dyrt, said RV travel provides flexibility for campers seeking both comfort and outdoor experiences.

“Exploring the country in an RV, trailer or camper van provides limitless options and opportunities,” Long said. “You have the security of knowing you have all the luxuries and comforts you need, but at any moment you can park your rig and become one with nature.”

Long said each location recognized on this year’s list offers a distinct experience for RV travelers.

“The winners of this year’s Best Places to RV awards all bring something different to the table,” Long said. “Whether it’s amenities, serenity or proximity to landmarks and attractions, this list could serve as one heckuva coast-to-coast tour of America.”

The 2026 rankings include destinations spanning a variety of landscapes, from desert environments and mountain regions to lakeside resorts and wooded campgrounds.

The top 10 locations recognized by The Dyrt are Dark Sky RV Park & Campground in Utah; The Views RV Park & Campground in Colorado; Catherine’s Landing in Arkansas; Rafter J Bar Ranch in South Dakota; Sportsman Lodge in Montana; Coachella Lakes RV Resort in California; Roadrunner Travelers RV Park in Texas; Anchor Down RV Resort in Tennessee; Swan Bay Resort in New York; and Scenic Hills RV Park in Ohio.

According to The Dyrt, the selected locations stood out among RV destinations nationwide for offering experiences and services that exceed typical campground expectations.

The list includes a mix of destination-style RV resorts and campgrounds located near natural attractions, lakes, mountain regions and other recreational areas.
