The Society of Certified RV Professionals, a body dedicated to raising standards within the RV industry, has announced the recipients of its Q2 2023 certification recognition.
In a recent bulletin, the Society highlighted 30 individuals who attained new certifications and three who successfully renewed their accreditations. These certifications were secured through the esteemed Mike Molino RV Learning Center Fixed Operations Certification Program.
The recognition program employed by the Society goes beyond mere acknowledgment, serving as a platform for these skilled individuals to have their professional strides recognized at a national level. From a pool of 41 individuals representing 18 dealerships, the society singled out a group of professionals making remarkable headway in their respective fields.
In congratulating these high-achievers, Phil Ingrassia, the RVDA of America President, underscored their significance not only to the broader RV industry but also on an individual level.
“On behalf of the entire RV industry, we congratulate these professionals and their dealerships. These accomplishments are proof of their outstanding commitment to customer service and satisfaction,” said Ingrassia.
“Not only do they elevate our industry, but on an individual level, each joins an elite group of certified personnel who have successfully met high professional standards.”
Ingrassia’s statement was a nod to the diverse roles and responsibilities that these newly certified and recertified professionals fulfill. The group includes service writers/advisors, parts specialists, parts managers, and warranty administrators. Each of these roles plays a critical part in the RV industry, ensuring smooth operations in dealerships and high customer satisfaction levels.
Private campground owners, RV park operators, and RV dealers stand to benefit tremendously from the expertise and commitment of these certified professionals.
They serve as the frontline staff, interacting with customers and ensuring their needs are met. Whether it’s providing parts for an RV, advising on maintenance and repair, or administering warranties, their skills and knowledge directly impact customer satisfaction.
This improved customer experience, in turn, contributes to the overall reputation and success of the respective businesses.
The Mike Molino RV Learning Center is instrumental in this process. Offering online testing, certification, and recertification, ensures the continued development of professionals in the RV industry.
The center’s certification programs were collaboratively designed by industry veterans, academicians from The Ohio State University’s Center for Education and Training for Employment, suppliers, distributors, dealer-owners, and manufacturers, thus ensuring their relevance and practicality.
The Society of Certified RV Professionals remains steadfast in its mission to elevate the RV industry’s standards. By promoting certification, the society helps ensure that industry personnel continually upskill and adhere to best practices. This not only optimizes operational efficiency at dealerships, as seen in improved Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) but also amplifies customer satisfaction.
The act of recertification and the continuous maintenance of certification signifies an individual’s commitment to staying current in an ever-evolving industry, an industry that continues to be driven by technological advancements and rising consumer expectations.
This dedication to professional growth and development is crucial, further showcasing the importance of the Society’s certification program.
The future of the RV industry appears bright as these dedicated professionals continually push boundaries, setting new benchmarks in service delivery and customer satisfaction. The Society of Certified RV Professionals‘ recognition program, combined with the Mike Molino RV Learning Center’s robust certification offerings, provides a powerful tool to foster this growth and uphold the highest standards in the industry.
