The Glamping Show Americas is gearing up to deliver glamping educational sessions, exhibitions, and the latest Glamping Americas State of the Industry Report. Scheduled from October 1 to October 2, the event is designed for newcomers and seasoned glamping site operators, featuring a two-day conference series and a pre-show workshop day.
Korse expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event in Colorado this October, noting the increasing scale of each successive event. He mentioned that they are currently tracking over 30% ahead of last year’s record-setting pace in trade visitor registrations.
“We’re seeing the same positive trend on the exhibitor/sponsor side of things. We still have more than 3 months before the show opens and we already have more than 110 exhibitors from 11 countries (so far) around the world to showcase their unique products and services,” Korse told Modern Campground.
The event aims to equip attendees with the knowledge needed to elevate their businesses, providing practical strategies and innovative ideas to enhance their operations. The conference sessions feature industry leaders on topics, including using influencers to boost business, exploring finance options, and discovering new technologies. Additionally, there are workshops on funding, food and beverage strategies, and understanding key metrics.
A pre-show Glamping Business Basics workshop on September 30 will help new glamping owners turn their ideas into reality. This real-world knowledge is designed for immediate application, empowering participants to implement new strategies in their glamping ventures.
Another feature of the event is the second annual Glamping Americas State of the Industry Report. Conducted by Cairn Consulting Group, this research report examines critical topics such as business strategies, marketing, financial planning, and funding. Scott Bahr, president of Cairn Consulting Group, will present this report, providing essential insights and growth metrics for the glamping industry.
Attendees can also visit the Indoor/Outdoor Expo, which showcases a wide range of structures, resources, products, and services. This selection provides ample opportunities for operators to discover innovative ideas and practical options to improve their offerings.
In addition to outdoor expo, networking is a key component of the Glamping Show Americas. Attendees will have the chance to exchange stories and insights with fellow glamping professionals from around the globe. These interactions can lead to valuable business relationships and partnerships.
The event will also teach participants how to leverage AI, navigate legal challenges, secure funding, integrate glamping into campgrounds, and enhance profitability with the right amenities.
According to its website, the Glamping Show Americas has experienced significant growth, quadrupling its net square footage, tripling its attendees, and doubling the number of exhibitors from 2019 to 2022. Trade Show Executive magazine recognized the 2022 Glamping Show Americas as one of the Fastest 50 trade shows in the United States.
Additionally, the event offers exhibitors a prime opportunity to showcase their products and services to a targeted audience of glamping professionals. Expo visitors have increased, with a 260% rise from 2019 to 2023, including 73% of attendees who are new or prospective glamping business owners and 27% who are existing operators looking to expand.
Early Bird registration for the 2024 event is available through June 30. For attendee registration, visit glampingshow.us/register.html.
