RVWA Award Nominations Deadline Approaching: Recognizing Women’s Contributions in the RV Industry

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) is gearing up for its Fall Education Symposium, and with it comes the deadline for nominations for their annual awards.

These awards are designed to recognize three individuals and one company that exemplify the mission of the RVWA – to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).

RV Women’s Alliance President, Susan Carpenter, emphasized the importance of these awards, stating, “recognizing the contribution and achievements of the incredible women in the RV industry is a core part of the RV Women’s Alliance mission.”

The awards not only spotlight the winners but also the impressive roster of finalists, highlighting the emerging leaders, industry icons, and the individuals and companies championing women in the industry.

The awards to be presented during the Symposium’s Award Dinner include the Trailblazer Awards for Lifetime Achievement, the Leader of Tomorrow Award, and the Champion of Women Award.

The latter will be presented to both an individual and a company. The nomination period for these awards is currently open and will continue until Tuesday, August 1.

The Trailblazer Award for Lifetime Achievement is the RV Women’s Alliance’s highest honor. It recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the RV industry and paved the way for other women. The 2022 winner of this award was Debbie Brunoforte from Little Dealer, Little Prices, a Campers Inn RV Company.

The criteria to be nominated for the award requires individuals to have worked in the RV industry for a minimum of 20 years. The form for nominations can be found here.

The Leader of Tomorrow Award acknowledges women making a significant impact on the RV industry early in their careers. The future of the RV industry depends on the cultivation of strong, creative, and hardworking women who will become tomorrow’s leaders. The 2022 recipient of this award was Alyssa Cox from Forest River.

The criteria to be nominated for the award requires individuals to have worked in the RV industry for less than five years. The form for nominations can be found here.

The Champion of Women Awards are given to those who embody the mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry. The recipients of this award have made it their daily mission to make the RV industry a place where women thrive. The 2022 winners were Winnebago Industries and Kim Gregory from Coach-Net.

The criteria to be nominated for the award requires individuals who do business in the RV industry for less than five years. The form for individual nominations can be found here, while company nominations can be found here.

The RV Women’s Alliance is playing a crucial role in recognizing and promoting the contributions of women in the RV industry. Their annual awards are a testament to their commitment to this cause.

As the deadline for nominations approaches, it is a reminder of the incredible women making a difference in the industry and the companies supporting them.

The Fall Education Symposium, where the awards will be presented, is scheduled for October 11-13 at The Renaissance at Schaumberg in Chicago. Tickets are now available for the symposium.
