RV Technical Institute Sets 2026 Level 3 Workshop Schedule for RV Technician Specialties

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has announced its 2026 schedule and registration costs for Level 3 workshops, outlining multiple specialty training sessions designed to help RV technicians advance their certification and diagnostic skills.

The courses provide focused, in-person instruction in key RV system specialties and count toward higher-level credentials.

The Level 3 workshops, hosted by RVTI, concentrate on electrical, electronics, and appliance specialties and are aimed at technicians seeking advanced training in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Registration will open six weeks before each course, with availability announcements issued at that time.

Level 3 training is structured to deliver all required hours within each specialty during the workshop period.

Technicians who complete a specialty workshop will earn enough hours to qualify for a Level 3 Specialty in that category. Those who complete training across five specialties can earn Level 4 Master Certification.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on February 4, the 2026 Level 3 workshop schedule begins with an electrical session set for March 24–26, followed by an electronics workshop April 22–23 and an appliance workshop May 19–21.

Additional sessions include another electrical workshop June 16–18 and an electronics workshop September 9–10.

Three-day electrical and appliance workshops cost $90 to register, while two-day electronics workshops cost $60. Each workshop runs the full duration of its listed dates.

All Level 3 workshops will take place at RVTI’s facility in Elkhart, Indiana. The institute said it began offering dedicated Level 3 workshops in 2024 to improve access to advanced specialty training, with each session focused on a single specialty area.

Technicians who cannot attend the scheduled workshops can still pursue Level 3 specialty credits through authorized supplier training offered throughout the year, the announcement said.

Additional technician training opportunities are also scheduled nearby through Lippert during similar timeframes. These include multiple Mini Service School sessions as well as slide-out, leveling, and awnings qualification courses running from March through June.
